Airborne Imaging Spectrometer for Applications (AISA) Hyperspectral Imager
In conjunction with Terra Remote Sensing Inc, the University of Victoria Centre for Applied Remote Sensing, and Modelling and Simulation BC CARMS, Borstad Associates Ltd now offers hyperspectral imagery and interpretation from CARMS brand new AISA Dual Hyperspectral Imager. The AISA, from the Finnish company Specim Oy / Spectral Imaging Ltd., simultaneously acquires VNIR (visible near-infrared) and SWIR (short wave infra-red) data across the spectral range 400 - 2400nm using two carefully aligned cameras. The AISA-Eagle and AISA-Hawk cameras can be operated independently or simultaneously, and are aligned to image the same pixel on the ground.

In Dual mode, the
system is capable of acquiring 492 bands, 2-6 nm wide across the spectral
range 395-2503 nm, at pixel sizes between 75cm and 4m! It is mounted
in a twin engine Navajo along with a LiDAR system producing Digital
Elevation Models with 10cm vertical accuracy and a Digital Ortho Camera. Contact us for more details |
