Data Analysis

Our laboratory facilities include:

a network of very fast PC Work Stations for data processing
PCI Geomatica and ENVI image processing software, with many of our own proprietary specialized tools for automatically manipulating imagery, especially hyperspectral imagery
a large collection of desk-top publishing software and hardware, including scanners, colour printers, and CD/DVD writers

We process data at various levels depending upon your requirements. The lowest level of processing produces radiometrically calibrated data, while the most complex produces thematic maps of data corrected to geographical coordinates using onboard attitude and position data, with additional ground control points (use of Digital Terrain Model is optional). We work closely with field specialists to produce accurate thematic maps.

We have extensive specialized expertise in hyperspectral remote sensing, and have developed many automated routines to quickly prepare either airborne or satellite hyperspectral imagery for analysis by your staff, saving you weeks of time (see the Data Pre-processing tab for pre-processing of Hyperion data).

Our experienced staff includes image analysts with both marine/aquatic, biological and geological graduate degrees. We can provide complete hyperspectral image analysis for almost any application.
