We are located near the town of Sidney, British Columbia, on the southeast end of beautiful Vancouver Island, on the west coast of Canada. If you have Google Earth, you can find us here.

Directions to our office

Driving from Victoria:

Take the Pat Bay Highway (17) north to McTavish Road (the turnoff to the Victoria International Airport).

Turn left at the traffic lights. Follow McTavish Road till it meets West Saanich Road (T-junction, stop sign).

Turn right. The road will go past a golf course on left side, a dairy farm on the right, and will then curve towards the right. As road starts to go downhill, you will see the Institute of Ocean Sciences on your left.

Our office is on the right in the Marine Technology Centre at 9865 West Saanich Road – Suite 114 at the east end of the building.

Driving from the Swartz Bay ferry Terminal (Coming from Vancouver):

Leaving the ferry, you will be on the Pat Bay Highway (17).

Turn right off the highway at the first (Wain Road) overpass about 1 km. south of the ferry terminal.

Follow Wain Road to West Saanich Road (stop sign).

Turn left and follow West Saanich to Pat Bay (nice view). You will pass a small church and see the float-plane docks and the Institute of Ocean Sciences ships on your right. The road will follow the Bay and as the road starts to climb you will see the entrance to Ocean Sciences on right.
