Very High Spatial Resolution Digital Imaging

Borstad Associates has developed a small digital Panchromatic Line Scan (PAN) Imager, and demonstrated its use for aerial surveys of beluga whales (Delphinapterus leucas) and harp seals (Phoca groenlandica).

The camera has been flown in fixed wing aircraft and from helicopters.
