In August 1995, Borstad Associates mapped an area of extensive kelp beds in the Nootka Sound area on west coast of Vancouver Island, for the British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. The image map below shows a false colour infra-red enhancement near Estevan Point on the Hesquiat Peninsula. (Higher resolution images can be downloaded by clicking on each of the images)
